The ground breaking is done, and
the house is on its permanent
foundation!
We will soon be
able to begin the arduous work
of returning the interior to its
original state. A special
ribbon cutting ceremony to open
the cookhouse is planned
for February 1, 2007. We will
need volunteers from the
community to help with this
interior work. This is a
community project, so it is the
Coalition's hope that many
will come out when the work
begins , roll up their sleeves
and put in some elbow grease to
get the house in shape!
The more people working, the
faster the work will get
done. If you can only volunteer
for a few hours one day, that
will be most appreciated as
well. We just really need
everyone's help - and every hour
of work is a great deal of help.
